Judd Hart founded the J. H. Hart Company back in 1981. Like many young entrepreneurs, Judd began the business out of his garage, armed only with a chainsaw, a pickup truck, trailer, and a dream for the future.
Today, J. H. Hart Company in Sterling Heights, Michigan, doing business as J. H. Hart Urban Forestry, is among the largest full-service urban forestry companies in the state. Our staff of certified arborists and certified pesticide applicators is dedicated to providing clients with the highest-quality tree and plant health care management available. As professional arborists, our goal is the beautification of property through maximizing aesthetic balance while enhancing environmental quality.

J. H. Hart Urban Forestry heats the entire building with a wood-burning heating system, handles the watering of our property via a retaining pond located in the back of our property, and also burns our waste oil for heat.
